How to make one
- Enter the place. A business name with the town, an address, or coordinates like 4.1755, 73.5093.
- Check it opens the right spot. Scan the preview with your phone. For places with similar names, coordinates are the most precise.
- Add a frame and download. "Find us" under the code says what it does. Download PNG, SVG or PDF.
Finding exact coordinates
In Google Maps, press and hold the exact spot (or right-click on a computer). The coordinates appear at the top or in the menu; copy them into the box above. They're the best choice for resorts, beaches, jetties, building entrances and anywhere without a clear street address.
Which maps app opens?
The code holds a standard Google Maps link. Android phones open Google Maps. iPhones open Google Maps if it's installed, and otherwise the map opens in the browser, from where people can get directions.
Questions
Is this location QR code free?
Yes, with a free account and no card. The place is stored in the code, so it doesn't expire.
Can I use my Google Maps business link instead?
Yes: copy the share link from Google Maps and make a Link code with it. Use a Location code when you only have an address or coordinates.
My place moved. Do I need a new code?
For a static code, yes. If it might change, make an editable code pointing to a map link and update it later.
