Select Sign in, continue with Google, enter the web address the code should open, and select Create. Download it as PNG for screens or SVG for print, then scan it with your phone to test it before printing.

Open the code from My codes, enter the new web address under Sends people to, and save. Every printed copy goes to the new page straight away.

During the launch each account can have 10 codes and make 20 destination changes a month. Deleting a code frees a slot, but printed copies of it stop working. If you need more, email hello@atolltokens.com.

Make one code per table or room, open it, and choose Work as a button. Give it a place name such as Table 6 or Room 214, pick up to four requests guests can tap, and save. Then print it from the code's page. Requests arrive on the Requests page.

Open the Requests page on a phone or tablet your staff keep nearby and select Turn on sound. New requests appear within seconds with a chime, and staff tap Mark done when they've helped.

Each phone can send one request every few minutes, repeat taps for an open request are merged, a code pauses itself if it suddenly gets lots of requests, you can block a phone from the Requests page, and you can set opening hours.

Link-preview bots (for example when you paste the link into WhatsApp) aren't counted, and analytics can take a few seconds to update. Scan the printed code with a phone camera to test it.

Use a dark colour on a light background, keep the white border around the code, and print it at least 2.5 cm wide for scanning up close. The printing guide has the details.
