How to make one

How a logo fits without breaking the code
QR codes have built-in error correction. With a logo, we switch to the highest level, which lets up to 30% of the code be covered and still read. We keep the logo to at most 28% of the width and clear a space around it.
Tips for logos that scan
- Use a simple logo or just the symbol, not a long wordmark.
- Keep the logo size around 20%. Bigger looks bolder but is harder to scan.
- Dark dots on a light background. If your logo is light, keep the white plate behind it.
- Print a test and scan it with two phones before a big print run.
