How to make one
- Enter your UPI ID. It looks like name@bank, for example yourshop@okaxis. You'll find it in your UPI app's profile.
- Add the name and, if you like, an amount. The name is shown to the payer before they pay. Leave the amount empty to let them type it.
- Add a frame and download. "Scan to pay" under the code helps. Download PNG for screens, or SVG or PDF for printing.
- Test with a small payment. Pay ₹1 to yourself from a different phone before you print a batch.
Your money never goes through us
The code only holds your UPI ID and the details you typed, in the standard UPI format. Customers pay you directly from their bank app. QR Code Spot never sees or handles the payment, and nothing you type is sent to us.
Check it before printing
- Make sure the UPI ID is exactly right: a typo sends customers to the wrong place or to nobody.
- Some banks limit payments to personal UPI IDs from QR codes. For a shop, a merchant UPI ID from your bank or payment app is usually better.
- Keep printed codes where you can see them, so nobody can stick another code over yours.

Yes, with a free account and no card. There are no fees from us; the code is yours.
Which apps can scan it?
Any UPI app in India, including Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM and bank apps.
Can I set a fixed amount?
Yes. Enter it in rupees, like 250 or 99.50. Customers see it filled in and just confirm.
Does it work outside India?
UPI payments are for UPI apps, mostly used in India. Some other countries accept UPI too; check with your bank.
