A call-waiter button on every table, made from a QR code.
Guests scan the code on their table and tap "Call a waiter", "Ask for the bill" or "Another drink". Your team sees the table number straight away. No app, no hardware, no wiring.
How it works at a table
- The guest scans the code on the table tent, menu or sticker with their phone camera.
- They tap a request. You choose up to four, and guests can add a short note like "Paying by card" or "No ice".
- Staff see it straight away on the live Requests page, with the table number and a chime. They tap Mark done when it's handled.
Ideas for buttons
| Where | Buttons guests can tap |
|---|---|
| Dining tables | Call a waiter · Ask for the bill · Another drink · Water please |
| Café counter seating | Order at my seat · Ready to pay |
| Bar or lounge | Another round · Call the bartender |
| Beach and pool loungers | Drinks service · Fresh towels · Umbrella help |
What your staff see
The Requests page lists open requests newest first, with the table, what was asked, any note and how long ago it came in. Requests waiting a long time stand out. Open it on a tablet at the pass or a phone in the server's pocket, and select Turn on sound.
Telegram alerts for your team's group chat are coming soon.
It won't become a prank button
- One tap per phone every few minutes. You choose the wait, five minutes by default.
- Repeat taps are merged. If a request is already open, tapping again doesn't send a second alert.
- Automatic pause. If one code suddenly gets 8 requests in 10 minutes, it pauses itself for 15 minutes and tells guests to ask staff in person.
- Block a phone. One tap on the Requests page stops that phone sending more requests to your codes.
- Opening hours. Outside them, guests see "We're closed right now" instead of the buttons.
Setting it up for a restaurant
- Sign in and make one code per table. Name each one by table, for example "Table 6".
- Open each code, choose Work as a button, pick your requests and set opening hours.
- Print it from the code's page as a table card, and test it with your own phone.
- Open the Requests page on the device your team watches, and turn on sound.
See the printing guide for sizes and materials that scan reliably on a table.
What it costs
Free during the launch, for up to 10 codes, which is 10 tables. No hardware to buy. See pricing for exactly what happens after the launch.
Questions
Do guests need to download an app?
No. Guests scan the code with their phone camera and the request buttons open in their browser. Staff use a web page too.
How many tables can I set up for free?
During the launch each account can have 10 codes, and each table needs its own code so the request shows the right table number. Email us if you have more tables.
How do staff know a request came in?
The Requests page updates by itself within seconds and plays a chime when sound is on. Keep it open on a tablet or phone at the pass or the bar. Staff tap Mark done once they've helped.
Can guests send fake requests from home?
A guest would need a photo of the code. Each phone can only send one request every few minutes, repeated taps are merged, a code pauses itself if it suddenly gets lots of requests, and you can block a phone with one tap.
Can I change the buttons later?
Yes. Change the requests, place name or opening hours any time from the code's page. The printed code stays the same.
See it from both sides
Tap a request as a guest and watch it arrive on the staff screen. No sign-in needed.
