Keep it short
The more text, the denser the code, and the larger you need to print it. For long information, a link to a web page is easier to scan and can be changed later.

Does a text QR code need internet?
No. The text is stored inside the code, so phones can show it offline.
How much text can I put in?
Up to about 1,500 characters here, but under 300 is much easier to scan, especially when printed small.
