Print the card at least 5 cm wide, and give it only to the holder. A printed card can be photocopied: gates flag a second scan while the holder is inside, and guards must compare the face with the photo on file. If a card is lost, replace it here: the old one stops working at once.
How access works. Main entrance gates let pass holders in and count their entries. Zones are areas inside, like Backstage or a VIP lounge, each with its own gate. A pass type says which zones its holders may enter and how many entries they get. Change a type and every pass of that type changes at once.
